this weekend consisted of nothing more

but just straight darkness from gotham city ....

day 106 - ready for some gotham madnesss...

gotham looks like its ready to rumble ....

with the joker kubrick ready to wreck havoc....

day 105 - the real men in black ....

day 104 - why so serious ... ?

we finally have the infamous joker be@rbrick

which was released with the same time as the movie,

the dark knight.

this set comes with the joker kubrick included.

for the gamers...

day 57 - be@rbrick series 16 double the trouble

i am sure this is every collector's joy...

when you end up with two of the same kind ....

day 56 - PROTO MANNNNNN

i think alot of my friends were confused

when i started posting proto man and megaman, lost, and tron sets

they all assumed it was just a bear obsession i had

but little did they know we have them in human forms called ...

day 55 - MEGA MANNNN !!!

i grew up playing capcom's megaman

so when this hit the market

i couldnt resist but to pre-order it

along w proto man

dunk it in water !

day 36 - be@rbrick wood wood jammin' w the ipod

medicom collaborated with wood wood,

a european line to produce our lil wood wood be@rbrick.

this was by midnight and i was drained of ideas.

so i put him jammin' w/ my ipod and headphones.

im not exactly pleased, but it will just have to do.

day 35 - a 'pair' of pandas, milk and tea. wwf x medicom

these are one of my faves.

i got these babies about 3 or 4 year ago from my BFF.

i have kept them stashed in their individual boxes.

but when i got my TOMs this weekend,

i thought it would make great art if i played w/ the 'pair' concept :)

day 34 - be@rbrick series 10

i never thought someone else's trash can become my art.

the wooden box came w/ a box of 2 yr old expired box of chocolate.

my coworker thought it would make great art for my bearbrick.

looking at the outcome,

i couldnt agree more :)

the material of this be@rbrick is not the usual vinyl used.

if you look closely, you can see the difference in texture, but in case you can't, its felt. :)

this definitely is more unique for the usual vinyl toy; however, the shortcoming of felt is its ability to pick up lint. again, this is reflected in the photo. :)

day 33 - cute be@rbrick series 10

this shot came almost unplanned as do almost all my photos.

this was a difficult be@rbrick to begin with as he only contained 2 colors.

Black to begin with does not really stand out, nor does white.

I didnt want the color to be dulled out.

so i finally decided to use a little flash light to highlight the top part of the head

and the bottom part of the feet.

everything in between just flushes right into the black background.

shooting his series 10 pattern be@rbrick was like shooting a scoop of rainbow ice cream

it contains alot of bright colors which can be a little distracting.

so i wanted to only highlight its best features it.
